Let's get down to BUSINESS...

It seems that it took me one year later to enter a post here again, which in fact, it's not. It was just five days ago. School ends relatively late on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Tuesdays end the earliest! Wednesdays end quite early too, but it's CCA day, so the happy thoughts of going home early drain away. Too bad.
It's homework. Homework and homework.

And What did I do?

Do it. Do them. Do all.

It might be taxing but I think it really drives me to push forward to my best and I like it. I like the feeling of being busy, it perks me up although it can be really irritating at times becuz you don't know where to start.

Oh!! Many things happen in school during the past week. There were auditions held for casts to play in SYF Drama. Xingyu went for it and landed himself with the role of Edgar, in King Lear. Well, congrats to Xingyu! :D I got myself in Photography and honestly speaking, I have doubts about whether I will be happy there. Sure, photography is my interest, but I'd prefer my CCA to be a sport. I abandoned the thoughts to join Hockey with Jiamin, its trainings are on Wed-Fri! How lethargic will I be after all those lessons already??? I missed the tennis trials cuz I was still sick! There were only 3 girls selected into the team... sigh. Monday was my first Korean IDP lesson and I was on MC that day. Still, I made a trip down to school just for it cuz I am paying for it! The teacher is quite interesting and she's Korean. Very native, which is good, cuz only native Koreans can impart you the correct pronunciation of their words. At least, that's my sentiments. Thursday was the second lesson and the teacher gave us homework, which I completed it in the wee hours of last night. It's quite simple and really fun. I know it may not be easy to learn a completely new language, but I will try. 8 more lessons to go! There's also this CD-AYL convention hosted by JJ. All secondary school leaders from S'pore, China and M'sia gathered to camp in our school. Senior Cao was made to help in one of the programs of the camp - Lantern making competition. I think he had some fun there, indeed, he had also gained some meaningful experience from working with the campers.

Since taking Econs, I have try to read The Business Times to learn more about the economy in the world. Sad to say, I've only just finished the first set of The Business Times I brought home. Many articles are on the US economy and I think they are really good reports. I've also come to learn that the depreciating US economy was due to some housing matters happening in the US. The second set of is still unread. :P

The last article was about R and D. I took it down for fun cuz it's kind of related to Senior Cao. R and D is his CCA. Lol. I don't know, but now I think I like reading newspapers. Newspapers are now not filled with mundane colours anymore and the coloured pictures really entice me to read the articles. However, I've not been reading The Straits Times for a long time, I should go back to reading it someday soon; that is, after I have finished the second set of The BUSINESS Times.

I'm feeling very hungry now!! Talking about hungry, Senior Cao told me Solomon's trademark to tell people to concentrate on their homework is: '我现在很饿, 要吃人了. If you don't do your tutorial, I will eat you up.' Eh, I guess it's kind of funny. Haha. Well, then I told Caoxun that my trademark is: 'If I'm under stress, I will bite off my limbs, just like what a stressed octopus would do.' And he said my TM is kind of scary.

I'm signing up to be a CSL in JJ with Zoe. Senior Cao is contemplating to join it too, but we are wondering if the J2s are allowed to join. Since I'm in photography, I will go be a Community Service Leader and make some mark while I am in JJ! Yipee!

Maybe I will just expose my new bag to end off this post:
