Whatever...

I kind of think blogging is stupid now, waste of time what with all the assignments and tests going on in school. Bleh. But why am I doing here?

Doing nothing, seriously. I just wanna blabber what I did earlier this morning and afternoon. Can't I even get the chance to blog? After such a long time? I promise, after typing all these, I'm off to bathe and clearing those junks.

History make up lesson today. It ended quite early, to our surprise, and of course to our delight. :P Then Zoe decided that she wanna have lunch at MacDonald's. It seems that XY and HL were possessing thoughts of going too. I wondered if I should go, because I certainly did not forget about the junks waiting for me at home. I suggested KFC, my comrades didn't mind. So it was KFC alright... YeeaaaH. I called mummy to let her know about it, she said OK. :D

We practically strolled to the familiar market place. Why familiar? Because since little I've been visiting this area when we are still staying around the estate. Our former home was just a few bus stops down JJ. There was this new chain of stores built along the side, fruit sellers, clothes sellers, fish mongers, butchers were all there. It has been like this for a while, I wondered why they were there. Now it dawn on me that they were the stall holders at the hawker centre/market place. Honestly, it had only occurred to me only NOW, as I'm typing all these! The stores built outside were temporary as the entire hawker centre/market place is being renovated. Anyway, that is not the main point.

Main point was I spotted Mangosteens selling at $1 per kg. Damn it, I think it's a steal. I called mummy again, she loves the Queen of fruits, and asked her if she wants it. She was ok with it. I told HL and Zoe that I'm gonna buy them after lunch. They said alright.

We were at the smallest KFC branch I ever been to. I think XY ordered O.R Fillet burger, while we 3 girls got Zinger student meal. Yum yum. I miss Bandito meal, it isn't included in the range of student meals already! WHY? What happened? Too costly to put it on offer for us students? Why deprive me of having it? I love Bandito sooooo much! I think KFC should reconsider putting Bandito student meal up again! I had to choose my 2nd favourite choice, not that I'm complaining, but still.... you get the drift.

2 little kids were trying to slid pamphlets through the joined glass walls of KFC. I found them amusing and told the rest about it. LOL. Then I reminded my friends of the Jia Xiang Mian cheer. You know, the noodle advertisement that uses a really... uhm...contemporary sort of cheer to make an impression on it's viewers. I even suggested using this cheer for Bannister house. It goes like this: Banni, Banni, Banni! Ster, Ster, Ster! Haha. Whatever. Surprisingly, the 2 kids started saying the cheer as well, the noodle one, I mean. They wouldn't know about Bannister, although I did teach them before we left. Haha, and I kind of joked and talked to them, especially the boy, since he was the more naughty one then his sister. XY said I was bad influence to kids. Hey, just because they heard me saying the cheer and they started saying it too, doesn't mean I'm teaching them the negatives. Why don't you say that the media is at fault? Woohoo.

We left. Left KFC, I mean. XY went on his way to church. There left 3 girls, who roamed around the area and visited Guardian and Good Luck Provision shop. Then we went back to the mangosteen stall, and took our pick. I mentioned to my comrades that I wasn't adept at choosing the better mangosteens. A helpful auntie taught me to choose the ones that feel soft when you squeeze them. We, HL and me followed what she said. We spent exactly a dollar on 10 mangosteens each. Delightful! Zoe helped us choose too! Albeit the fact that she didn't buy, she basked in the fun too. Hahahaha.

Home alone. Bought mummy and sis their lunch at the coffeeshop near our home. The new home, to reinforce the point that we left the former home few stops aways from JJ since I was 5.

Sat in the comfort of our oriental sofa and read another chapter of Magic or Madness. Or is it Magic and Madness? Whatever. :) I took a nap after that and woke up only about 30 minutes before.

I can't resist borrowing the books from library. To top it up, most of them were books written by Meg Cabot. OK, I admit it, she's one of my favourite authors, alongside J.K Rowling. The 1st 2 series of 1-800-Where-R-You is with me now. And Jinx. Great books. 4th one was borrowed yesterday, Magic or Madness. Affirmative, it's 'or' between the two M words. I hope the person who borrowed the last 2 series of 1-800-Where-R-You returned them to the library soon, I so wanna finish them off.

Way before that, I've read All American Girl, All American Girl - Ready or not. Nice books, all by Cabot. Miss them so much.

Oh OH! Not forgetting I am doing really well at solving the Rubik's cube. I'm nearly there now, following the steps taught by a young lad called Dan Brown on Youtube. Zhi Hui was the one who noticed this guy shared the same name as the author of The Da Vinci Code. Such coincidence. :P Only, I don't own the authentic Rubik's cube, mine is called the Magic Cube, bought long long ago. I told myself, if I really manage to solve it, I will buy the real Rubik's cube and start playing. Wheeee!

I think this blog is the most meaninful blog I've ever blogged. I can't explain it easily. It just is. Meaningful, I mean.

Off to the bathroom.

Till then.

The Intricacies of Life... Rant over!

You think you're are great,
But you are just like me,
like all of us,
A mere insignificant human being.

You admit that you're intellectually gifted,
and consider it as a good point,
I see it as one too.

You pointed out the log in my eyes,
But you never saw the one in yours.

Let me point it to you:
You're obnoxious,
arrogant,
detestable at many times,
scornful,
rebellious,
insensitive,
grim,
gloomy,
and proud.

Your sense of humour
may offset some of the negatives,
but your words wounded deeply.

No, I'm not saying all these in a fit of
anger.

I just find you pathetic.

You see us as revolving around
your Solar System,
But have you thought of the
otherwise?

I am able to forgive you for what you have said,
But I'm sorry and worried for you.

I wonder,
when you will open up your mind
and eyes
and heart
to feel and see the light?
I shall keep you in my prayers,
in Jesus's name.

He had died for the sins you've commited
on the cross,
Please don't disappoint Him.

Be humble and gracious,
fellow follower of Christ,
or you've lived in vain.

It's either you accept who I am,
or keep your bloody comments to
YOURSELF.

That's because I've done the same for you.

They say you will not stop,
unless you've seen the damage.
Someone learnt from his mistakes,
and I like him even more now,
he's a nice chap in general.

If you don't reflect,
You will find it difficult
to face this cruel World in
future, brother.

We shall coorperate and
complete our work
together,
then shall we move on
in separate ways
if you still see me as what you
perceived.

Best wishes to you.

What else can I do?

I'm super bored.

Tomorrow's Literature Retreat briefing and Some Minister Dialouge Session training.

My life is really unpredictable.

I can't remember what I did last week.

Oh, I think I do, I've finished reading the 4 books I borrowed from library again. It was rather fast.

I did CIP with HuiLin at CCK MRT Station, Lot One Shopping Centre. - 7 hrs..

I went Jogging with Joanne one particular day. Stadium was closed, so went to the park near our homes.

Visited Ah gong twice within last week. Love him lots.

PW's WR finally established.

Sadistic Shaun played a prank on me. Again. During the holidays. Or should I say, it was just yesterday.

'I'm in Vietnam now.' He said. Yeah, right.

King Lear's remaining notes to be printed.

Economics to be studied for test once school reopens.

BBQed with Secondary Schoolmates, 4V5 & 4V6!!

Went for my new CCA training the first time last week! :) Playing the flute now...

Thought I would dread the holidays a little, cuz I'll miss my friends.

But now, I dread going back to school. I'm happy to be seeing my friends tomorrow, still.

I want to watch my Animes and Movies online! At home!

My Anime is loading now...

Shall return to that page and enjoy my show!

Till then. :D

Laziness is... ME!

I'm so lazy to blog, even if now are the holidays. I don't bother. Well, I'm gonna just type less and show a bit more - of photos, that is. So, last week, hmm. I worked for 3 days at the Expo Food Fair. Zoe, Beixin and I stood there for the entire day, trying to sell off the cartons and cartons or F&N drinks. As I said in my msn nick before: 'Food galore, but legs are sore!' My legs were sore from standing so long behind the counters and I tried to shake my legs to relieve myself of the numbness in my muscles. I didn't take any photos of my work place though, but I managed to snap photos of my favourite Mediacorp artiste! PORNSAK!! He's so damn cute! :D

He kept fidgeting, so all photos of him are kind of blurrish. Hehe. But, he's cute, no matter what.

That was work at the Expo. But we didn't stop there. Zoe and I went all the way to Potong Pasir, Angsana Ave to do some more part timing. But it was only for one day. We went to the CNS boss's house to do some taping of advertising brochures and packing of Narnia playing cards for Swensens. Though the pay was quite low, but it wasn't as exhausting as working in Expo. We sat at the 'work place' in the terrace house, with the air-con switched on, drank some F&N Nutritea and chatted while we finish the work off. I realised that CNS is a company hired by F&N to organise the stall at Expo. No photos of the 'work place' either, kind of rude if I took photos there, it is someone else's house.

I found a new love. I make my mum and Jiamin(which she refuses) to call me Mrs. Barnes. I know I'm crazy... but now I'm crazy in love with Ben Barnes, Ben for Benjamin, Prince Caspian of The Chronicles of Narnia. He's super super cute... and dashing! I love him... oh gosh, why is it so warm in here? Why are my cheeks flushing??? Oh! Nah, it's indeed warm but my cheeks aren't red, at the moment.

Gasp! He look so cool in the poster! That's my man! Whoosh! Go Caspian (Ben)! He shares the same name in the movie as my distant cousin living in the UK too!

Him.

...and again, him, with short hair!!! Argghhhh! SO CUTE! I can't believe he kissed Susan in the movie, oh well, I can get over that. But it was a little disappointing to see that Caspian and Susan won't work out together in the movie, because Susan said: 'I'm 13oo years older than you...' No matter... that doesn't bother me too much.

I've finished reading the 4 books I borrowed before the holidays. I was done with them at the beginning of the first week of the holidays. I was amazed at the speed I read them. Went back to school today for the training of dialogue session with minister of state and after which I made a trip to the library with Jiamin to borrow another FOUR books. Not forgetting that I have also started reading on Charles Dickens' Great Expectations. The beginning of the story makes me hungry to read on further, it was not like reading Oliver Twist the last time. I had to go to the school's library and extend that book for four times! Four again. Do I have an affinity with this particular number, hmm. But my favourite number is... well, I don't really have a favourite number, but 4 is not on my top list if I were to make a list of my favourite numbers.

The first four books read during the start of holidays... they were returned to their home this morning first thing when I reached school. I miss them dearly now... :P

I think that is all I have to type... PW is still in the making. GP will be discussed tonight with Arthur and Aaron, Jiamin will be working, so not inclusive of this fair maiden. She sprained her ankle while practising hockey this morning. Clumsy lass. I shouldn't say that of her, cuz at many times I'm clumsy too. Econs to be revised for next term's test. Econs is making everyone dizzy and in the end, it seems that I've typed quite a lot in here.

Till then!

Holiday bash - Bukit Chandu! + Many many other things!

I almost forgot what I wanted to talk about when I click on 'new post' just now. No doubt, I have STM. Well, well, well... June holidays are here. It's been long awaited and kind of dreading for me. Long awaited because we can finally slip out of our homework days and I can stop seeing those irritating boys in my class. Dreading because I will miss most of my friends in school! Awww... but I will be seeing them either in school or during CIP or part-timing. :D

Talking about boys... hmmm. Jiamin mentioned that she hasn't got much problems with boys in secondary school, but now, the boys in JC - in our class, are totally being incorrigible. They seemed so much more childish than they should have been in secondary school. I have the same sentiments as Jiamin because I experience similar problems with someone. Grrr... Why can't they behave like normal people when they look almost normal in appearance? Enough of them...

Our history teacher brought us to Bukit Chandu yesterday. Needless to say, everything there is all about history - Singapore's history. It's a small gallery, 2 stories high and provides information on The Battle of Pasir Panjang. Quite an interesting place and we girls snapped quite a number of photos together, for fun and for remembrance. We were also given a task to do while visiting that place, but I'm quite guilty to say that I didn't really paid much attention to completing the task. :P

We looked at this animation first, the small light there pictures a soldier, telling us of how the war broke out on this hill, Bukit Chandu. He was animated and so were the aeroplanes and fire mushrooms. But the buildings in there are real miniatures. I find this concept of explaining the battle using animation and real miniatures very creative. The whole explanation lasted about 6 mins.

This statue is just beside that 'box' above.

Woooo, Jiamin and me on the steps!

The four of us! Huilin, Zoe, Jiamin and me!!!! Whoosh! (We girls rule!)

Zoe and me playing with the military helmet... it weighs quite heavy. Charge!!!

The four of us again, and of course with me playing a fool in it! Uh... Mrs/Mdm Koh behind and half of Arthur's body. This is the rather small theatre which we went in to wait for the 'show' on the battle. The room when pitch black when the 'show' started. All we could sense was our hearing, with the sound effects of bombing, slashing, shooting and voices ringing in our ears. I kind of felt scared with the room being totally dark and the scary sound effects of war. It puts me in the situation of a REAL war and they've done it! I felt my fear rising in my heart, it was as if I was in the middle of a real war. The people who thought of this 'show' really captured the emotions during war. I grabbed Jiamin's and Zoe's arms inside, in the dark. Haha, part of it to play a fool. But I was also a little scared, probably afraid that they would leave the room without me in the dark. It was Jiamin who suggested taking a picture of us from the top. We got Pearlyn to help us with it. :)

Huilin took me in the theatre... I was, again, being crazy over the earphones. I can't help being naughty. :P

See what I meant when I said I felt guilty for not really paying attention to the task given to us. My group members were busy trying to scout for information and I was behind them snapping their backs. I showed them the first picture I took and Jiamin was not satisfied and commanded me to take a second one. So, there they are, in the second attempted picture.

Hmm, this Bukit Chandu trip is also helpful for our PW. I think it was worth the while to visit that place, although it's quite secluded.

I came home from school about 2 hours ago. I was the emcee for the Panel Discussion of the International Yoga Therapy Conference held in JJ. It lasted not too long and very short. It was almost useless for me to change into my white blouse, school's blazer and black court shoes. But since it's required, I have to adhere to the rules of being an emcee. Umm, professionalism... that's what I call! Mr. Goon told me there are more jobs to come, I shall await them and finish them with enthusiasm! Wuahahahaha...!

Ooh, how glad am I to have change my CCA from photography to Chinese Orchestra now. Although I havn't attend any of the practices yet, but I'm happy. I think music still runs in my veins, I rather do something I'm more comfortable and happy with than brood all day at a CCA, which I do enjoy, but, not as happy enjoying it as CO! YAY! Additionally, I got to know from Bing Qing that Swee Chin had also joined CO! Swee Chin told me that she just switched her CCA from band to CO. She's playing the guzheng, like me! But it seems like there are enough people playing the guzheng already...sigh, as much as I like it, I think I will have to play the yangqin instead. No worries! I am happy playing either instrument. :D :D

Great news again, Miss Mardiana sent me - and among some others, an email to say that we have been selected to go for a dialogue session with the Minister of State. There are even trainings for us! Hehe... Jiamin and I are both selected! Yay, we can attend the trainings together! Whoosh!

Sunday is tomorrow, and it also marks the first day of my part-timing this year, at the Singapore Expo Food Fair! Beixin introduced me to the job, serving samples of Nutritea! The pay is better than the one I got while working in my secondary school's bookshop. Grr... that bookshop owner was obviously over-using my labour with that little amount of pay. But still, I got money... Haha! Zoe, Jiamin and Jiamin's sis will be there working too. But too bad, they only gave Jiamin one day of work and we have different starting time. We will still get to meet each other during work though... Zoe will be working with me for the next three days at the same time slots! Whooohooo! Beixin too! I think Zoe has started her work today already.... hehe.

I'm so hungry, waiting for daddy to bring home our dinner... and I guess I should type out the list of what we have to do for my PW group later. Going back to school on Thursday to have a PW consultation with Miss Chan...!

I think I am bonkers. I borrowed four, FOUR books to read during the holidays! It seems that the librarian was happy that I do so... of course, they should be encouraging us. The other librarian also asked me if I wanted to borrow DVDs home, but I declined politely. The library has this 'top-borrower of the month' going on. If you are the top-borrower, then you will win yourself F&B vouchers. We heard that it was Swensens's food vouchers. It really makes my mouth water at the thought of dining at Swensens. I found out from Mdm Phua, the librarian that the average number of books the top-borrower borrowed was above 20... or even 30! I think that's quite impossible for me... to borrow that number of books and read at the speed of lightening, not forgetting that there are homework and school activities going on...sigh... I love reading, I must say. I have finished 'Undead and Unwed' last night, finished it in 2 days! That's quite fast for me but I know of someone who reads even faster and can finish a book in half a day. Humphf! Jiamin also likes to read and she told me before that if she sets her mind to reading it, however thick the book is, she can finish it in a day too. Take my hat of these people. Their eyes won't dry out reading for such a long while. I must remember to take photos of these four books... and post them here! :D

D & D are here, Daddy and Dinner, here I come! :P

Blue is the Colour!

Blue is the colour, Blue Blue is the colour (softer)

Blue is the colour, Blue Blue is the colour (Soft)

Blue is the colour, Blue Blue is the colour!!! (Loudest)

Oooooohhhhhh... Bannister!!

Bannister camp... hmm, wasn't that fun I must say. But the Sports Meet yesterday overturned me!! Woohooo! After a long day on Thursday and not forgetting after my chem test, Bannister camp started. Water games were the first activity on the list and I rushed back to LT5 to change my shirt with my friends. The games were rather much similar to the ones we played during our PAE camp, but novelties were the cheers they taught us for the Sports Meet! The cheer that started this post is my favourite cheer. Whoosh! :D

After washing up, we had dinner and Mr. Lim took photos with us! He mingled with us for a while before going home to his wife. He's a good hubby. We headed back to LT5 for a song singing session thereafter they played 2 videos for us to watch. Both were shows hosted by Oprah Winfrey and life-changing stories covered. The second was a devastating and heartening one. Done with the videos, we next moved to a classroom to discuss some survey with our CT (which we have already done). Mr. Lim has gone home already so Mr. Siow took over the job. So there's nothing much to say, we ate supper (sushi! and bread and water).

Next morning, simple exercise, breakfast, Pepsi drink(?). Yup, Pepsi drink early in the morning. We were suppose to drain the contents in the Pepsi cans so we can fill beans in to create shakers. We headed for morning assembly after that and the Sports Meet officially started! Yay!

Bannister house was great, though we didn't win in terms of sports, we won in terms of best cheering! I think it was the same last year too! Banni was the best in cheering. We cheered together as a house below the audience's seats, the other houses were not like us. We even ran on the track once as a house during the 30mins interval. How united can we be? Damn united! We cheered loudly for the runners and danced when the mass dance songs were played. Hehe! We even cheered for the other houses when the teachers were competing in the ....leg. I don't know what's the event called but... yeah. We cheered for them! I drank lots of water too, I was losing my voice but the vibe was pulsing, I can't stop!

I say Banni Tsunami

I say Banni beat Biki

I say Banni own Owens

I say Banni kick Rono off the road!

Bannister!

This cheer follows the tune to the maggi mee song. Haha, interesting one. Another cheer, which we hardly used during the sports meet:

Banni Jia you! x3

Jia you ohh ohh ~

Jia you ohh ohh~

Bannister!

Hmm, there was another cheer that we used repeatedly when our runners were running, here goes:

Let's go Banni, Let's go!
(Drummer x2)

Finally, the happening event ended and Charmaine and I went to met Ms. Chan for our PW's GPP. Shaun and Thaddeus were on the bus home already when I called them. They didn't know about it, so I told them I will inform them of what to do. :)

I went home soon after, bathed, played online games for a while then went to nap at around 3pm. Woke up just before 7pm. Haha, was totally exhausted. I slept in bits and pieces in the hall during the camp. LOL.

I love Bannister!!!
