Jogging-Labour Day

Timing is so not right. But of course, I may mean a few things. However, when I initially typed that sentence I actually meant that my timing for 2.4km run is so not right! Now as I think about it, there is no other meaning to my first sentence. Well, push it away.

Timing in school was 16.15... poor result. To push and train myself for next Mon's 2.4km jog, I made an effort to head down to Jurong West Stadium. In the end, I only improved by 7 seconds. 7 seconds!!! I pushed, I persevered, I panted, I ran, I.... I did what I could. But nothing can stand in my way. I just have to do it when the actual test comes, no matter what. At least I achieved something by running 6 rounds straight today, without stopping to walk. A little better than in school, where I ran for five and a half rounds! That's the only consolation I can give myself for the effort I made. Can I?

This is also where I had my sports carnival during my last year in secondary school. Youth Olympic Games will be held here too, in 2010. And as I type all these, I'm trying very hard to load up the 2nd picture. It failed many times. What is happening to all the uploading systems on Internet? They suck big time at times. ('Internet cannot display the webpage' - Get lost)

Must really thank Senior Cao for jogging and training me today. Treated him dessert after our run. I feel great to have exercised. I know I lost a few kilos, did I? Hope so.

The sky was cool blue with dotting white clouds. I can't help but loving it even more whenever I incline my head towards the boundless sky. My love for the sky is as boundless as it is. :) Lucky I haven't got a heat stroke after the run today like I did on Monday after PC. Today was cooler and enjoyable.

Standing on the field before leaving the stadium. Finally this picture got uploaded or I am thinking of banging the computer on the floor. I can't though, daddy will scold and I won't be so RETARDED as to deprive myself from using the computer when I need it! I don't have the energy to bring up this sack and slam it on the floor too. :P

The tennis courts were hidden up on 6th floor of the sports complex. I went up and visit them today for the first time. There are only 2 courts. I went skirting around the complex to visit the gym too. Students need only pay $1.50 per entry for an unlimited period of time. Quite affordable, one day I might visit it with friends. The booking fees for a badminton court on the 4th floor is $7.40 per hour. That's quite what we call a daylight robbery. Didn't get to see the bmt courts at all.

This is how the tennis courts look like peeking from outside.

Met my beloved friend while the door to the lift opened on the first floor. She called me but I couldn't quite make out who she was as I took out my spectacles earlier on. Simply waved to her but held on the the door. Then she urged me to come out. I did. As we came closer, I jumped with excitement on my feet and we hugged. It's been so long since I've seen Yun Xin. How I missed her! She's been busy in ACJC, and she was at the sports complex with her cousins for a swim. I must plunge in the pool with her when we are both free one day! We caught up with each other at the right side in the picture.

Senior Cao treated his buddies and me to some delights on Tuesday. Sanjiv sank his teeth on a chewy peanut choco chip cookie. Solomon sank the fragile plastic fork into the hard-rock Oreo cheesecake while Senior Cao and I ate our waffles. Renfred did not take his offer. We sat outside cookie house, chatted amicably and went our separate ways after that. Sanjiv joined me and Senior Cao at our study table and we talked. Sanjiv is a very linguistic person and not forgetting to mention, a very nice friend! I'm glad I got to know him... and also his best friend, Solomon, Renfred too, although we don't talk much to each other.

Sanjiv's cookie and Solomon's hard-rock cheesecake in the picture. I am so tempted to gorge the cheesecake into my mouth. I'm so hungry now, moreover, I love cheesecake!!!

Ahhh, I'm enjoying the wind blowing in from the window, it beats having to stand the tremendous heat just a while ago...life is great!
